And it's still nowhere near as expensive as other countries yet many in the States are losing their fucking minds.
I think a lot of the US war in the middle east was to stop gas insanity in Europe.
The US is one of those nations for whom personal auto travel is a necessity for the majority of its residents. Between the smaller sizes and much more developed public transportation, most of those other states don't have as much reason to complain to begin with because it effects them less.
