an Indian family is surrounded by white suburbanites, they assimilate. If there are enough of them that they're opening their own grocery stores and the business signs in the area aren't in English... they aren't assimilating, they're colonizing.

This video is actually about Indians that move to US White "elite" areas and create their own dominance of the social sphere nevertheless.

It's not just ethnic enclaves. Integration also poses it's own problems. Integration != assimilation.
