There's no real difference between financially attacking people who gave $20 a Canadian Truckers, and an ethnic Russian who's getting kicked from an eSports team. The point is that finance and money has been entirely politicized as a weapon.
I fully expect this to be translated into: "anyone who doesn't agree with (insert latest policy) is a Putin ally and needs to lose their bank account."
Pull your money out of the banks sooner rather than later, or you won't be getting the money at all.
Oh and anyone who doesn't think that all these "digital dollar" rumblings aren't intended to make it even easier to use financial weapons is in for a rude awakening.
