I haven't had any luck figuring out how to download them. Doesn't matter much, I won't feel bad just downloading them from somewhere else where I don't have to strip DRM, I already paid for the content after all. I don't have that much on Kindle anyway, it didn't last long as a platform before I decided I liked books better or Amazon-alternatives.
