Some fairly hardcore stuff too, which is illegal even on paid TV in some parts of the US. I know how technically they are different, but it's almost a loophole that politicians could seize on to punish netflix if there was actually any desire to. I wonder if any other countries which restrict Internet content ban that.

Surely netflix already has custom content catalogs for different regions, so not doing it for Russia is just performative.
