I did hear someone earlier this weekend call to boycott Russian vodka. Which I guess makes sense, except I'm not sure I know of anyone that actually drinks Russian vodka.
Russian Standard vodka is actually pretty good, IMO.
Smirnoff turns out to currently be owned by the British (and if you get it in the US, it's probably made here). Smirnoff himself was Russian but communism happened. Absolut is owned by the French and produced in Sweden. Grey Goose is French.

People that didn't buy Russian products to begin with are saying they're going to stop buying Russian products. Gotta snatch up those sweet social tendies, am I right?
Meanwhile i'm thinking of visiting my local Russian store for the first time in 5 years curious what opinion the immigrant owners will have. I assume they hate Putin but will they support Ukraine?
They may not even hate Putin. There are reasons someone would leave a country that don't include them hating it or its leaders. You never know until you ask. Just keep in mind the fact that people generally don't want to be the villain in their own story.
