Don't rely on that. Telegram bent the knee to the German government even though their entire appeal was that they don't bow to government censorship.

Difference is that Telegram is hosting your data, unless you do a secret chat. These wallets are just software that you run. Open-source software that anyone can audit.

If they tried to do anything like this, people would see it and simply not use their software, or not upgrade. Then news would spread quickly and they would cease to exist.
