The OP pic has his terms wrong. 3rd gen warfare is classic military force usage. 4th gen warfare is guerilla and insuregent force usage. 5th gen warfare is information control and propaganda. Every modern general worth his salt knows that 3rd gen warfare is largely dead, that it can't beat 4th gen warfare, that determined insurgent forces always beat modern militaries, which is why most modern governments use 5th gen warfare against their own people to keep them docile, weak, and controlled.
