Before GG, I was already a classic liberal. Time slowly reveals that I've always felt the way I do now, but was more willing to bend my beliefs if I could be persuaded with the right circumstances. Those circumstances rarely exist anymore.
Same. Considered myself lefty-lib, pro-feminism until GG, then realised feminism != equal rights; they want more and don't give a shit about men's rights. Wasn't until 2016-18 when I dropped the lefty part (still consider myself classic liberal).
I was part of the crowd facepalming at the "dumb yanks" electing a TV talk-show host, but the hate-boner the media had for Trump got me questioning more than believing. Ate crow- he's not the GOAT, but he's a damn sight better than any in living memory, as far as I know (admittedly, a low bar). Didn't have much faith in media after GG, but lost my last modicum of respect for the profession.
Fast forward to current day and I have 0 trust or faith in any of the government institutions. They, the media and the left are full mask-off 24/7 and I can never go back to giving them the benefit of the doubt or assuming good faith. They want us dead, raped, our children violated, and they think it's funny. There can be no quarter given, not an inch- aside for the normies, it's us or them.
