Genetics are weird. A guy I knew in college had a Muslim name. I always thought he was Arab or South Asian. One day somebody said something about him being black, and I laughed--thought it was a joke. Nobody else thought he was black either. Saw his parents on graduation day--dad was very dark African and mom was very white America. Never would have guessed this dude was 50/50.
