All they need to do is freeze the account the money’s being deposited to though. GiveSendGo might be doing everything right, and that stupid fat fuck still might be able to coerce the local bank on the receiving end to steal their money.
I’ve felt more pride in the people of this country than I’ve felt for years as a result of this principled protest, and politicians seem intent on stamping it out one way or another. At every single opportunity, they seem adamant in doing the absolutely wrong thing.

Crypto can work too, but as the authoritarianism increases, I feel like trading in coin with normal people is going to be more secure, more accepted, and less monitored than crypto.

Agreed. I started collecting bitcoin, ethereum and small amounts of precious metals a while back, less as an investment, although I do think they're good investments, but more as a safeguard against government control.
I feel like parallel economies are going to become a reality before too long. I hate the fact that it's probably going to become a necessity.
