Hm. Follow its profile to the “husband’s” account. Pinned tweetstorm. That’s alarming.
“ FFS, I wouldn't have even started transitioning if it weren't for Amelia. It wouldn't have even been a consideration.

Y'all just wanna put these lies and accusations out there that her "young transmasc spouse" (I'm only 2 yrs younger, ftr...) is being abused and isolated and paint her as a villain, without interacting with me for a single second.”

Both the "trans" people I've known were clearly pressured into it.
One was a college guy who's girlfriend pressured him about it. He was smart enough to not cross over the amputation threshold. Later his girlfriend broke up with him and he went back to being a guy - I don't know if he's suffered other long term effects but at least he didn't chop anything off.
The other was the son of a coworker, turns out she was absolutely bonkers and wrote all about it on her facebook feed - she encouraged her nice-guy ex-husband to "talk publicly about his fears" and he committed suicide, her new fiance after him broke up with her, at the height of her "WHAT ARE MEN EVEN GOOD FOR" rants on facebook her high school son decided that he was a girl - gee, do you think your parent and place to live taking on a hate crusade against your gender might cause you to put on a dress in a desperate attempt to avoid their wrath?
I'm not sure "trans" is really ever a natural condition, but I'm positive that even if it was the abuse it promotes does far more damage to more people than anyone it theoretically helps.

it almost sounds like a mentalized viral event.
