As is right since they would have no business tagging along on a dangerous adventure

Hell, in a deleted scene of the Two Towers Eómer straight up told Éowyn that war is hell and she should stay as far away as she could, which was the right thing to do. No one should want to go to war, it's a unfortunate necessity in life.
