Not too surprising as quebec has done a lot of terrible shit, especially to english speakers. Plenty of ENG's buying valuable property only to "go missing", restaurants openly banning people or charging 2-3x on their bills while claiming it's a "tourist tax". Also can't forget about the just for laughs incident a few years ago where they banned a comedian from performing, only for him to do his material on the street/gather a crowd of 100 or so, only for the police to jail him for 2 months for "busking without a license". If americans want to know what happens when society treats one group of people better than the others/tailors laws for "equality", quebec and their treatment of the french is the endpoint of that.
