I can pick a few things I recognize out of this in my limited interactions with young family and friends mostly. I think the entirety of it is a bit of a stretch, but to be fair I don't really know anyone in a heavily leftist area.

One thing I really pick up on is the boys with zero plan or what I'd call a lack of ambition. The ones I know really don't push themselves to do anything more than exist. It sort of feels funny because people say I never grow up, but I'm always pushing myself to something. I just like to find the fun in things instead of feeling like I have to live up to some boring adult standard.
