Trump makes Trump look good. Oh he was mean to the press, fuck the press. They have nothing but contempt for everyone else. His policies helped everyone make more money and keep more of it. Yet people listened to the journos cynically tell them how awful everything was because the people they hate were starting to do better.

Anyone who fell for it is shortsighted at best and willfully ignorant at worst.
