Very simply, it is the Progressives forcing their morality onto you. They rule the nation, it is their nation. We will abide by their morality and adopt their culture. There is no choice in this if you wish to function in their country.

If you don't like this join a culture that holds similar values to you. Maybe a more conservative and insular religious group, or move to a country that is more in line with what you believe.

There is no turning the train around for the USA. It's full speed until the Progressives end it all in a fiery crash. I'm just suggesting that you make a rolling jump from the train and hope for the best.
