(but somehow the freaks keep topping themselves) Even if what she was saying was true (it isn't), you can't compare the actions of the sheltered group that have the full support and backing of the state apparatus on their side with those of the dissidents.
It would be like a colonial newspaper in the 1700's saying "It's now clear that the continental traitors are the bad guys. You don't hear about loyalists tarring and feathering the opposition, or harassing our good, honest representatives of parliament. But if someone did attack these rebel scum to defend our King's honour it would be well-deserved!"
Actually she's Canadian so maybe her relatives were tories who had to flee from the patriots after sharing such hot takes.
