I remember when I started learning world history and it opened my eyes to see how much slavery was the norm for most of the worlds history.

For all the talk of activism today it’s amazing to me that nobody seems to care about modern day slaves. Instead they will harp on slavery that happened in the U.S. for the 1000th time
