I remembered reading articles about “healthy 20-somethings” mysteriously collapsing from stokes and heart attacks months after recovering from covid. While I didn’t really believe them, it was very hard to completely discard them. That anxiety made me experience “real” symptoms even when I knew it was all in my head.
Absolutely. The older I get, the more I am able to recognize it and handle it. The best way to tell it’s just anxiety is if your “symptoms” vanish while you’re preoccupied.
At work: Perfectly fine all day long.
Lying down to sleep: “Am I having a heart attack right now?”
