While I like the spirit of the article "slammed", "destroyed", "bomb" titles are cringe click bait.

Journalism classes used to emphasize that adjectives and adverbs beyond the purely descriptive should be strictly avoided, unless one was writing up some sporting victory. Know yellow journalism by its adjectives and adverbs.
