I'm not religious myself, but the Christians should be sounding the fucking alarm about the Antichrist right about now. I haven't been able to shake the feeling there's something horribly evil going on, far beyond all the shit we talk about here. Like something all encompassing. For some reason the fact they're going after the churches disturbs me far more than it should.
I happen to know an unusually high number of Christians - I'm from one of the most nonreligious countries in the world, but I went to a Catholic high school and our class was great so I still keep in touch with a lot of my old classmates - and it's been absolutely devastating to watch my Christian friends fall in line with this horseshit. I haven't had anyone break off their friendship with me and I don't think it's going to happen in the future either, these people have known me for like 2 decades at this point, but I just about screamed at one of my best friends when we went to his newborn son's baptism a couple of months back and he was wearing a fucking mask inside the church. By his own faith, that baptism is one of the most profound and important things that will ever happen in his son's life, and he nearly went through it with his face covered up by a hideous rag. Thankfully he put it away eventually when I told him to stop being a clown, but for fucks sake, wearing it should have never crossed his mind in the first place, come on.
This guy has a PhD in physics, too, he's incredibly intelligent and hardworking and genuinely a great person, but he's an idiot at the same time. Way too much trust in authority.

We are.
This is the End Times.
The Mayans were right and the world really ended in December 2012. We're in hell.
Jesus literally said that the end of the world would begin after His resurrection.
Its taking its time, but it is ending.
