I see that the show (the one from the 90s/early 00s) is on one of the streaming services I have. Is it worth binge watching?
I do remember when they announced the race swapped reboot that Anita Sarkesian was upset about it, and I foolishly thought that that would give her some understanding about people who are upset by something they love getting crapped on.
I mean... eh? It has some good and some bad points. It was first made back in an era when attractive women were still allowed to be on television, all of the female leads are good looking, as are many of the minor female characters.
At the same time it was probably the earliest example of pandering to the rainbow freaks that I've ever seen, with one major character suddenly just turning gay out of literally nowhere later on in the show.
And then there's the matter of Whedon. A pozzed serial molester who abused most of his actresses.
So I'd say in the end it's up to you whether it's worth watching the show or not.
Oh yea I forgot about the lesbian part. I’ve reached a point where I personally have no interest in lgbt content. They are free to make shows but I’m not interested. If I watch I can fast forward like I did with Torchwood
The gay didn't just come out of nowhere, and I quote "Also, I think I was a lesbian!"
