Why not just revolt and go back to the old games? If enough people are irritated with the new stuff and go back to something Microsoft isn't making money off of anymore, they might actually learn something.
They could also learn if you quit playing, but they're more likely to blame the gameplay.
Sad thing is, the gameplay in this one is probably the best in the series (though it has some flaws.) If this game had progression like the MCC it'd be great.
Halo Finite is a perfect example of squandered potential. The gameplay itself is fine aside from fixable issues (melee hitbox collision, desync). It's also bare bones, not even having a standard slayer playlist. But 343 went out of its way to ruin the gameplay to push their storefront. The reason they don't have playlists is due to the challenge system. The game type rotation responds to what challenges you have, as in it's designed to give you minimal chances to accomplish the challenges for minimal reward. 343 selling you challenge swaps is the "solution".
The challenges and progressive system do change how players interact in games. You get constant quitters from people who hate objectives. And many who are left won't bother playing objectives, they'll either pretend its slayer or hyperfocus on challenges entirely irrelevant to gameplay. Instead of people enjoying pure gameplay, the game becomes a grind in frustration and futility.
It's better just to tell people to go back to MCC or switch to Splitgate.
343 is garbage... halo infinite multiplayer, graphically, looks like dog shit. Even something like split gate looked better. It looks like an early ps4 game.
Honestly.. i expected a planetside + starcraft type game where you had a big ass map where there is 3 factions. Flood, covenant and humans. Add in a rampant AI with sentinels runming around. And the goal is to control as much sectors as possible.
Do you have a list of what was removed? I still see most of the Reach stuff (at least the full armor sets are still there and a number of the individual pieces.) I don't like the idea of having to pay $10 for a bunch of cosmetic items in Halo (never had to do that before), and paying $10 for a specific set is even worse, but I haven't seen anything reliably indicating they removed content from the BattlePass to put it in the shop.
It's amazing how jannies will sign up to a job and then lose their mind at actually doing what they signed up to do. What a bunch of fucking bitches.
