Are airlines actually accepting mesh masks? I don't doubt that it qualifies as a mask and depending on the wording of the rule should be accepted, but something tells me that they'd be perfectly willing to tell you to fuck off even if you by letter fit the requirements.
I've ordered these earlier and they work like the charm. No one complained while I was wearing the normal fake mask. I actually wear the "Offensively Fake Mask"
whenever they ask me to wear a mask in the Bay Area. Only one grocery store in SF kicked me out lol
Don't bother with these, they already are aware of them. I flew last month and they required the hospital type mask and would give you one if you weren't wearing one before you stepped foot on the Passenger Boarding Bridge to the plane....This was Delta for anyone curious.
They actually stopped asking for shoes to be removed a few years ago iirc
But your point stands.
I just had to remove my shoes for a flight last week. I know you are exempt if you are ... elderly.

FYI, I've tried a bunch of different masks and found these the most breathable: https://www.etsy.com/listing/871101612/black-sport-mesh-mask-black-gym-face
They're made of a jersey type material that's antimicrobial, and it's layered so it doesn't look like the material is full of holes.

Based. Though in Australia many places won’t even let you wear your own mask, even if legit…
You have to wear “the ones we provide”…
That generally includes airlines.
Useful for public transport, and the like, though!!
Yes, Australia is a dystopian fascist state. Why do you ask? 🙄

I just have a half visor and wear it as low on my face as possible when I'm in a store or the gym or something. Maybe airlines wouldn't accept it though. https://www.tradeshopdirect.co.uk/transparent-hospitality-half-face-shield-visor
