War is politics by other means as they say.

The 'political solution' once peaceful means are untenable is making sure you have as many people as possibleunified in purpose and willing to fight for your side when the shooting starts, or at least convincing people not to fight for the other side.

Sitting around before doesn't bode well, because the other side hasn't stopped recruiting. Just look at all the fucks convinced they should go out on "legal" shooting sprees if Rittenhouse doesn't end up prison.
