Remember that the Left's actions are all about realpolitik and power-- no matter how illogical.

Conflating protected speech with violence and violence with protected speech isn't hypocrisy-- it's a tactic. Violence justifies self-defense, therefore their actions are never violent, but their opponents' always are. Once they have the power to decide whether an action is violent, any action by the left's foot soldiers (no matter how radical) is justifiable as self-defense against the right's "violence." Keeping that in mind, we have to recognize that there are no standards on the left, save the double-standards which serve the left's power grabs. They can lie to your face, in the name of the power they need to enforce their 'greater good.' Why? Simple. They're willing to justify any action (no matter how vile) by any means necessary, if it gives them the means to enact their utopian position. Their good intent, and the future they're willing to sacrifice you for, is ultimately all that matters.
