It worries me that even here, people mix up Australia and Austria, lol…

Austria - Hitler, yodeling and cowbells.

Australia - desert, sheep, Abos, the nanny state and the Sydney Harbour Bridge…

We’re reeeeeaaaallly not that similar, historically. Politically? Debatable. But historically, geographically and culturally (and yes, I’ve been to Austria)..? Fairly distinct, to say the least, lol…

It’s like TasMANIA and TanZANIA, which I have, amazingly, had Americans mix up before… And which have almost nothing in common whatsoever. A few Parsees, a coastline and some mountains does not the same place make… 🙄
