I believe the central theme to all of this liberal madness is idolizing failure.

The problem with modern technosociety is that every day you see people who are the top 0.1% in their field. Any field. Oh you think you're pretty good at knitting? Well look at this youtube channel where they knit a 10' working suspension bridge for their 100 lb dog out of yarn.

These people believe they are failures because they value being skilled rather than family or religion or being moral, and they'll never be anywhere near the best so they're identifying with failure. That guy who drank too much, passed out in the drive-through, attacked the cop, took his weapon and pointed it at him... that could be me!

Raised as center-left, I was in the very top of my field winning competitions and such so I never felt like or identified with failure, but I'm sure this is what's going on. For example, my 130 IQ far-left brother who never mastered a skill even though he absolutely could have sends out memes like 'if you can't recognize the T-Cell in this picture just trust the science' because he believes he's a failure and can't read science and decide for himself. Why would I have to recognize a T-Cell to understand what role it plays? It's fucking dumb.

This is why I never believed that the left's real objection was to 'mean tweets'. I think what really triggered them was "we're going to win again" because they don't believe that includes them.
