soon there will be a blacklist for every word, and only the approved messages will get out. no upvotes or downvotes. just a curated channel on your homepage, and youre not allowed to pause or skip any video. #authoritarian yt's future

Yes, and the reason is because total views can be used to estimate dislikes, with likes per total views.

But they won't remove it entirely they'll turn it into a qualifier like "thousands" or "about 10,000".
