The very fact that he's being charged shows the system is corrupt. Charges should've never been brought. There's a popular adage that "the process is the punishment". Hugely expensive bail, lawyers, jail time, court time, questioning by LEOs, etc. Corrupt DAs are using it to punish their political opponents, and let off their political friends. Justice is no longer blind or equal, and it hasn't been for a while.
It's going to keep getting worse, until the people have had enough and fix it themselves.
