The process was also a terrible punishment. These jokes were from 2010-2013, the "human rights" tribunal made their decision in 2016 (not sure when that process started, could have easily been in 2013), and now finally in 2021 after hiring lawyers to take everything to the top court it's finally over. That's at least 5 yrs of battling for some jokes about a retard singing off-key.
If you think it's bad now, just know WHY they didn't rule against him:
The Supreme Court found the comedian’s jokes did not seek to incite other people to mock the singer, and he cannot be blamed for the actions of others who copied the jokes.
