Radical Islam is the wrong term, fundamentalist is the correct term. Everything "radical Islam" believers believe is supported by Islamic doctrine IAW the Koran and Hadith, and that makes them more properly called fundamentalists. The "moderate" muslim is akin to our twice a year Catholics who go to mass for Easter and Christmas, but otherwise don't really follow the religion.
