Disagree. The "original sin" of WoT is not that "men bad, women good" but that the books portray "men and women are different, AND men and women work well together."
There's one scene in one of the books when the Two Rivers villagers are working together. The men are trying to be tough and take care of the women, the women are trying to be tough and take care of the men. The point is, they're different yet they all worked TOGETHER in different ways for the common good.
Wokeness is "fuck yeah girl power, men suck"
So yeah, this series loosk to be trash. 6th grade me would cry. Adult me is used to my favorites being destroyed, so, meh.
Agreed. I enjoyed that about the books. They are so obsessed with making sure you know women are better that they miss out on great story opportunities of men and women who work together
One thing I liked about the books was the concept that men and women were different and they were most powerful when they worked together. The books already have non white people in other territories. Yet they still push this nonsense. Also they will make the aes sedai all perfect Angels.
It is odd that the 2 rivers was so small, remote, and generally unknown, yet the make up of the village would imply travelers from far and wide settle down there in this show.
