I consider it a great shame that God's first words to his creation wasn't "Go forth and learn" rather than "Go forth and fuck your stupid brains out".
Man didn't need to be told to learn. God created him with the innate ability and curiosity to learn. Man needed to be told to multiply for a particular end, i.e. to subdue the earth.
Context is important. Read your Bible thoroughly.
