Well, it's Google, so I'd have to guess they paid him to be against a breakup of Alphabet Inc.

I truly don't think it would work anyway. Nobody can afford to keep YouTube running at the huge losses it makes except Google and maybe Microsoft.

Android should be turned into an open source OS and taken out of Google control. That would actually cause some issues.

You say that like it's a bad thing. If YouTube is such an important service that they can't be allowed to fail, then the government needs to fund and control them. If not, then fuck it and let them fail.

Come to think of it maybe the "government" is already funding them in the black budget.
