Look, my father is the kind of person who would have had no qualms doing vivisection in medical school, if it was offered, and the profs “convinced them* of the benefits “to society”, so… Eh. 😑

He probably largely said that to assuage his own guilty conscience for past wrongs. And to make me feel stupid. Which didn’t work, obviously, in this case…
