You are aware the majority of the food is produced in red states right?

And?

Ukraine was an exporter of food before the Holodomor. It doesn't matter how much food you produce when a platoon shows up to take it.

It doesn't matter how much food you produce when a platoon shows up to take it.

Then it matters how good of a shot your neighbors are.

I mean if everyone able mobilized in Ripley County Missouri where my farms are, we might end up with two, maybe three companies worth of men able of fighting. That's not going to do a lot when the other side can mobilize brigade and battalion sized deployments.

Why would you attempt to fight a conventional war? Asymmetrical warfare works, ask the Taliban.

Ukraine also had their farms seized and all the farmers executed, and lacked a state government that could tell their feds to go pound sand. Different circumstances.

Are you saying that you think the federal government is going to march troops into red states and just start executing people. Without any resistance from said red states who have their own guards that report to their governors on top of the armed citizenry who will fight back and the enlisted who didn’t sign up to fight farmers? There are still tons of soldiers hesitant to get the jab and willing to lose their jobs and benefits over it but I’m sure they are willing to execute “Kulaks” without a second thought.

On top of that this is an administration who can’t keep people from publicly deriding them and the media can’t cover it up anymore to the point where “Let’s go Brandon!” Is now a meme that means “fuck joe Biden.”

And let’s not forget the great military genius of this administration of shutting down our most important Air Force base in Afghanistan before pulling out all the civilian assets we needed out.

I’m not saying that I don’t think there might be some Dems who would want do horrible things to their opposition. I just don’t think they are capable at the current moment

People will always need to eat so an investment in farmland is a smart guaranteed investment. Warren Buffet when asked on if he thought gold was a good investment said he’d rather buy farmland because it will always have value and year over year will provide profit without having to sell the initial investment. So no. Rich guy buying up farmland does not immediately raise alarms. Even if he is creepy. Most of the top earners are creepy whether it’s Gates, Bezos, Musk, or Zuckerberg.
