On reading the article on Wisconsin earlier I thought this would be a good solution to the problem. Move them down to Chicago and see how things go when they start to clash with the urban youth.
Depends on the job. Sometimes even the wage-slave class can take advantage of transfers to another state. Someone I knew did that moving to another state even though they worked a basic retail/sales job. They contacted HR about relocating and the company helped them get setup with a new job in a new location.
But it all depends on the situation, the job, and the willingness to skip town.
