3.9bn / 12 / 80k "active" creators who stayed for longer than a month. 4k a month, not 5k a week - 5k a week was for the top 1k creators, of which most of the top 100 are former porn stars or internet "celebrities".
That would have been a better comeback than confidently asserting that it never happens, and then being unable to prove that it doesn't. You've been shown to be wrong often enough that you really should be watching your step a bit more when just throwing something out...
I assume the 3.9 billion is yearly revenue for OF, right? They shave off 30% of that, the content creators receive 'only' 2.8 billion. Then they have to pay taxes on that, but let's leave that out for a moment because it will vary.
Now, assuming the correctness of your numbers, I strongly suspect that averages are not very useful as in the usual Black Swan phenomenon, a small number of creators will get a lot, while the vast majority will get chump change. That is why your GC friends hate OF so much, apart from their opposition to porn.
Well, I just don't believe it would happen at all. It sounds exactly like the kind of lie they would tell people to play victim.
I've seen enough of them bragging about buying houses, cars and holidays with their cash to know they aren't struggling and of course that kind of blatant exploitation gets them hate, so they invent a story of "their lives being ruined" that they tell while sitting in their house they paid for with their victims' money.
3.9bn is what OF declared as their expenditure to pay creators in FY 2020/21.
