I mean...they're both equally useless. Masks are just newer and trendier theater.

I've actually managed to hit a post with my bike, which sent be flying forward headfirst into a tree when I was a kid. I hate to think how hurt I would have been if I didn't have one on. I'll grant you that you need to crash in a very particular way to have it help, but it is possible.
