If you're right, that's... Kind of more worrying, honestly. Because I could genuinely see them trying this. So...

You've got me rather worried, now, ha. I'll keep my eye out for a test case, if one comes along, because a) as others in that sub pointed out, such a law does not exist, and b) it would affect me, if it did, so... I hope it doesn't get legislated, ever!

It would explain the weird insistence on finding a law against it.

At first I thought it was just a guy falling for a trick, but the way he talks and the insistence on a definitive answer is definitely questionable.
