I had a chance to watch this documentary Out of Shadows a few months ago. Nothing surprised me as to me that was just obvious. But one thing stuck out of my mind at 8 minute mark. This specialist had an interesting thing to say about his patient.

"I was kind of little bit disgusted with his personality. He was all about himself and money. I think the lord had a lot of work to do in terms of humility with him."
This quote has been stuck with me ever since I watched that documentary. I don't think it's not just LA that people are like this. But if I check twitter, I find people that are liberal in general like this. Maybe I'm brushing it with broadest stroke but when I look at e-celebs and their opinions, they remind me of what this specialist says about.
I think I made this thread after looking at AOC at GALA making waves in twitter. She was in an exclusive party where only rich people hang out at and wearing a dress that says Eat the Rich and some people are still defending her. That made a great impression on me and remembered that documentary and that quote.
in my completely unprofessional observation it's an artifact of social media training people to curate a very specific "brand" or "public image" and in the case of twitter it's mental illness | mental illness | mental illness | pronouns | BLM-DSA-ROSE-EMOJI-OMGWTFLGBTQBBQ | mental illness
If you're old enough to remember Myspace every basic bitch was doing the duck lips. It's like an established vocabulary that you pick up. Liberal strongholds ESPECIALLY LA are like this where literally everything people say or do is like a practiced routine or a verbal resume. LA was always like this and social media exported it nation and then worldwide. Babies raised on iPad youtube crawls end up saying "like and subscribe" as their first sentence. "Like and subscribe" is just how you say goodbye now if you're 4 years old.
edit: skimming this documentary I'm inclined to go along with it. A lot of people I know are referring to modern clown world shenanigans as "satanic". I was never a religious person and never believed in a literal satan but my worldview is that there is definitely an evil pulling some strings and we're all grasping at straws trying to figure out what the fuck is going on (some say jews, satan, soros, deep state, etc whatever they're all plausible and they're entitled to that opinion)
edit++: I just gotta share this again
On the edit, as much as religion, has been destroyed in this country, our national culture still is based on Judeo-Christian doctrine.
Calling something satanic carries with it a certain weight and deeper meaning that I think most if not all people would comprehend, unless you've never ever heard of satan. At the risk of sounding like a leftist, you see it, and something about it just feels wrong.
EDIT: And those leftists who support say pedos or zoophiles, I think, have to overcome that cognitive dissonance that comes with looking at them and feeling a chill run down their spine.
You make a very good point. Especially second paragraph strikes a chord with the point I was trying to make.
No wonder some of them do come across like a cult member. Come to think of it, it seems we already have known as we regular refer to them as people who drank the cool aids.
On the last topic, hollywood is full of weird shit, so yeah I'd prefer people to just skim the whole documentary.
