They were looking for a way to shit on DeSantis and he didn't give them one. In light of that, they used a proxy to do it.
So who was this supposed official who overstepped their bounds? Who said something they shouldn't have?
Oh... It wasn't an official in any capacity.... It was a regular citizen who was simply given the opportunity to speak.
 
Let's think about that for a moment. They wrote an entire article to smear DeSantis, based solely on the words of some literal random citizen.
How is this anything other than a propaganda hit piece?
This is liberal fanaticism — their obsession to create a public narrative to destroy anyone who doesn't conform to their ideology.
Do they write entire articles when some random citizen says something factually incorrect when speaking at an AOC event?
Nope.
How about at a Newsom event?
Nope.
A Pelosi event?
Nope.
The only time we see these hit pieces are against conservatives. The point isn't even the article itself either. The article doesn't mean shit. They know almost no one will read it. They just wanted the headline — so they twisted reality in the most duplicitous and deceptive way they could, and ran with their smear.
