Once they have new power they never give it up. Nothing will end in 2022. This is the danger of government.

Yep.

I know some people like to say "Well, once they achieve X we'll go back to normal..." but that's not how this works. Once they achieve X they will move on to Y and they will not relinquish whatever power they acquired with X.

The Patriot Act was proof of that. Operation Chokepoint was further proof of that. They're still illegally making use of these junctions to oppress the people in any way they see fit, and they're now using COVID to do the exact same thing.
