But if Epic were allowed to run their own store on iOS, so would the wrongthinkers.
I don't understand whatever point you're making here.
If they really wanted to "run a store on iOS" there's literally nothing stopping them. As much as I despise apple, it's still a computer that you can write code on and release binaries for. Apple should have the right to ban whatever the fuck they want out of their App store. If you're such a cuck that you're going to chain yourself to the distribution tools of your business rivals, well, that sounds fucking retarded and like you're giving power over yourself in a way that you don't need to.
They could produce their app launcher and a store and fucking fornite and it can all work on OSX with zero issues. But the idea that Apple then has to be forced to sell it inside of their application? Fuck no I don't approve of that in anyway at all.
Fascinating, I didn't know that, the last time I was forced to help someone with their Mac the OS was still capable of executing arbitrary binaries.
Well, if they want to downgrade from selling actual computers to selling something like a console, that's their stupid and ignorant prerogative and I still don't approve of the government telling them they can't.
I'm completely fine with Win10S, in as much as I am "fine" with Windows, meaning I am completely unaffected by it. If people really want to buy these awful products because to them they aren't awful, godspeed.

That's the key. That's why the court tried this "Epic win, but only to get their app back on the store" in the hope of making this go away.

Apple doesn't allow sideloading. What you described isn't possible.
What Apple does is like if every Windows PC was locked to W10 S.
