Because back before the prize pools were huge and dwarfed even their ill-gotten gains from OnlyFans, making them extremely jealous and feel entitled to that cash, they thought that e-sports were dumb and for nerds who can't get laid.
Of course, now it's an industry, they want in so they can slowly take over and kill it, while taking in all the cash they can in the process.
It could partly be 'they can get rich from OF'
But we don't see women beat men in any field - grandmaster chess is 99.9% male
No money in it, and no chance to harm people the way they like to.
I can just see it now. Some e-sports team lets a woman in and she accuses their entire squad of raping her while she slept, then demands that they hire more women to chaperone her.
Women only said stuff like that because they suck at games and got their asses handed to them any time a guy wasn't going easy on them.
Most girls from a young age found out they couldn't compete with guys on that front and quickly decided to shun the whole topic.
Now that modern games are much more dumbed-down and are made to cater to a female audience... you still don't see them coming back because they still can't compete.
lol.
