i don't know anyone local who even ever GOT covid, a few friends online claim they got it
i don't know anyone who had a serious case, certainly no one who died
i know 3 or 4 (one is uncertain, it could be vaccine tainted transfusion killed her) people now who died from the vaccine, and 2 more severely disabled now
every one of them an absolutely tragic story
but i guess vaccine injury deaths aren't allowed to be mourned or mentioned on reddit, only 'covid' deaths..
the compassion and tolerance of the left. wrong opinion. banned, died from something we don't want to talk about, banned/ignored
I had it but no chest cold. Got it in my eyes at jiu jitsu. My eyeballs hurt for a week, lost smell, in bed for 2 days. Been way sicker before from the flu / food poisoning though.
there is no such thing as asymptomatic cases, thats just a lie they told us to trick us into still remaining afraid when what was really going on is the tests didn't freaking work right
I know a few people who got it, felt a little down for a couple days and were fine. I also know an ~85 year old man with cancer throughout his body who caught it, and he pulled through just fine as well.
I know a lot of people who got covid, including me and my gf (we got it twice).
I don't personally know anyone who died from it, but my gf has a friend who lost a few family members from it (and also a teacher).
and even the less than 1% that are confirmed, were with the PCR test, which can't tell the difference between influenza A, B, corona, the common cold, covid19, or any variants
so the likelyhood your girlfriend was TOLD someone she knew died from covid.. is .. pretty low STILL, but measurable.. the likelyhood that she KNOWS that someone died from covid, is pretty much immeasurable, nearly 1 in 1million
we were all lied to, but if you checked the source data.. it was obvious it was a lie
Guess I'll chime in too. Same thing. I know several who had covid, including a 93 year old. All felt under the weather for a week, and then were fine.
Also strange that I can't name one public figure who died from it. With AIDS there was Freddy Mercury, Arthur Ashe, etc. You would think with all the "death and despair" happening that one notable person would have died.
Everyone I know personally who caught the coof bounced back just fine, including my 60+ dad. Every second hand story I've head about someone dying was someone who had comorbidities. Sad, but not something that could be stopped by destroying society.
Actually I knew a guy who got it last summer and died at 35 years old. They put him on a ventilator early and he never got off. I know another guy whose elderly dad died of COVID, but he also fell off his bed in the hospital and may have died of his injuries and other compounding factors (of course, his death certificate gives one attribution). And I met a guy whose aunt died of COVID.
From the post:
Excuse me? No one I've ever met personally has died from COVID. Only People I've heard passing away with it were all 80+

You only know you got if you got tested for it. Now most cases were asymptomatic but if you had symptoms you probably just think you had a bad cold.

over 99% of 'deaths involving covid' are PRESUMED, according to the CDC's own data
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/
not causal, and not confirmed

I know several people who got it personally, including an elderly cancer survivor. All were fine.

It happens. So do car accidents, of course.
