Once I stopped my knees really went downhill in the last year after 30 years of playing goalie. Also didn't help that both the Gold's Gym and Planet Fitness both went out of business. Next closest gym is a 30 minute drive depending on traffic.

A walk outdoors is also free and just as effective if you're not too concerned about strength training
Bodyweight exercise works fine for strength training. Pushups and squats.
