It would be extremely damaging to them. It would prove that every single bit of bullshit they spouted was completely projection of their own desires, that the "patriarchy" was merely them stating their own plans for us.

Imagine if it was pushed on the level masks and vaccines are now...they'd be so widely hated people would support anything against them.
